Up and Coming:

August brings hot weather and even hotter concerts. Watch for ticket sales for The Who, Christina Aguilera and Janet Jackson.

August baseball is always popular as we head into make or break time. The most intense rivalry in professional sports continues this month and may decide who will end up the American League East champion as the Red Sox take on the Yankees in a five game series at historic Fenway Park.

August is never to early too think about football (college or pro) as the Cowboys and Eagles kick off the NFL preseason at the Hall of Fame in Ohio.

The NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series hits the sold out Bristol Motor Speedway in late August with the Sharpie 500.

There is no shortage of hot live sports and concert events happening in September. Classic rock leads the way with the Rolling Stones hitting Gillette and Giants Stadiums. The Who and Roger Waters of Pink Floyd separately hit Madison Square Garden as well as many amphitheatres this month.

If football is your specialty, get ready for the start of the unsurpassed popularity of the NFL and NCAA. The Dolphins visit the Super Bowl Champion Pittsburgh Steelers to start the season Thursday, September 7th and it's Manning vs. Manning as the Colts take on the Giants Sunday night, September 10th. The NCAA has marquee matchups with Georgia Tech vs. Notre Dame and the Champion Texas Longhorns vs. the Ohio State Buckeyes are already selling at "through the roof" prices.

The MLB playoff races look to be extremely close this year with key September series involving the Red Sox vs. the Yankees and the White Sox vs. the Tigers. Watch for playoff tickets sales as each contending team gets closer to its magic number. There's no expected date for these to go on sale.

The US Open Tennis Tournament, always a hot ticket for tennis fans and celebrity watchers, will be held in early September with the Men’s Finals scheduled for September 10th.
