February 2008 Hot Events
On February 17th, Daytona International Speedway will host the one of the most anticipated events in racing history with the 50th running of NASCAR’s Daytona 500.
Exciting concerts this month include former Blind Faith band mates, Eric Clapton and Steve Winwood, teaming for three shows next year at Madison Square Garden on February 25th, 26th and 28th.
Bette Midler will begin a run at Caesars Palace with her show "The Showgirl Must Go On" due to open February 20th.
Bon Jovi, Bruce Springsteen, Linkin Park, Van Halen, Barry Manilow, Rascal Flatts, George Strait, James Blunt, Jerry Seinfeld, Keith Urban & Carrie Underwood, Reba McEntire & Kelly Clarkson, Kid Rock, Larry The Cable Guy, Marilyn Manson, The Spice Girls, Toby Keith, Dancing with the Stars and The Foo Fighters are all touring the US during February.
The annual NBA All Star Weekend, including the basketball's All-Star Game, Celebrity Game, Rookie Game and Slam Dunk Competition is scheduled for Feb 15-17 at the New Orleans Arena Center in Louisiana.
Other sporting events in February include UFC 81: Breaking Point, February 2nd at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las vegas, Nevada and the 2008 AMA Supercross Series hits Anaheim, San Diego, Houston, and Atlanta. The NFL’s Pro Bowl is scheduled for Sunday, February 10th at Aloha Stadium, Honolulu, Hawaii.
Hot Broadway shows in February include Wicked, The Little Mermaid, Young Frankenstein, November with Nathan Lane, In The Heights, and Is He Dead?
